How to do follow-up during the weekend and public holidays

Patients operated < 1 September 2023

  • FLAGS – Clear all first line flags
    • This includes both yellow (e.g. stained dressing, submitted videos, Sanofi symptoms) and red flags, except flags that are clearly meant for the lead clinician (e.g. call patient to discuss X)
  • PARAMETERS – Check extreme parameters (≥ 8/10)
    • Adapt care plan as needed (message, escalation to 2nd line, remove exercises, etc)
  • MESSAGES – Answer all messages
    • Reply to each received message (even if you say you will come back with a more elaborate answer on Monday)
  • SURGERY DAY -1
    • Send start message for patients minus one day of surgery (day -1)
  • SURGERY DAY D1-D2-D3
    • Check parameters and validate patients post-surgery D1-D2-D3

All patients operated > 1 September 2023

  • REPORTED EVENTS – check all reported events
    • Define an appropriate response for each reported event and adapt care plan as needed.This always includes a message to the patient with advice/reassurance depending on the event’s nature.
  • SURGERY DAY-1
    • Send start message for patients minus one day of surgery (day -1)
  • SURGERY DAY D1-D2-D3
    • Check parameters and validate patients post-surgery D1-D2-D3
